My Why

Hello! I'm Adam, and I am a certified professional dog trainer, a certified canine bodyworker, and a member of the British Columbia Association of Animal Massage & Bodywork Professionals.

I'm dedicated to enhancing the well-being of animals through expert care and evidence-based massage and mobility work. With a lifelong passion for animals—especially dogs—I've built a career focused on improving their quality of life.

With a background in emergency services, I've witnessed firsthand the healing presence of animals. Throughout years of providing critical care in high-stress environments, I've found solace in the companionship and unconditional support of dogs. This inspired a commitment to giving back, leading to specialized training in canine bodywork and mobility to help animals live their best lives.

Throughout my journey of working with animals, I have developed a keen eye for the subtle signs of pain in our furry friends and have witnessed some amazing transformations take place through animal massage, in conjunction with veterinary care. Seeing dogs move fluidly with renewed desire to play after days, weeks, or sometimes months of stiffness and pain, has been an incredibly rewarding experience. With that, I have been committed to increasing my education and honing my skills to broaden the positive impact that I can make in the lives and mobility of animals.

In my free time, you can find me kayaking in the ocean in the summertime and snowboarding on the North Shore mountains in the winter.

It is truly an honour to be involved in the care of the animals in our community and I can't wait to meet you and your best friend!
